left eye ball is not moving from centre to left

My syster's left eye ball is not moving from centre to left from the last one week. we gone to eye specialist he said that there is no problem with the eye may be with the nerve which is connected from brain to eye. then we have taken brain scanning as suggested by neuro physician. the doctor said that there is no problem in brain. now she is taking medicines and doing eye exercise. please tell me whether it is general problem or peculiar case. suddenly it was happened. Her healthily is good. no headache nothing. what is the problem. how the eye ball will come to the normal movement. i am very thank full in advance

Regards....
Kiran Kumar

I know it doesnt sound like a lazy eye but could be caused from the same thing, a lax eye muscle.

Agreed. Some people just have loose muscles. There is a surgery that can be performed. It's invasive, if her vision is not impaired by this most physicians will not recommend it.

lazy eye, I can understand...but if started to happen since last week, we may have a slightly bigger problem.

the reason for loss of muscle control in one eye is...a REALLY diverse list...with MANNYYY different reasons. Is her vision affected in either eye?

Let her try the exercises..if it doesn't help within 2 weeks or so...try to get another opinion.

Have you seen a neuro-opthamologist. I have similar problen but it has been over a year.I cannot work or drive. Do you find that your eyes get worse when you excersize or when stressed out. I too am looking for answers. Metabolic clinc for me next week, they just are trying everthing but nothing works.
