hi

I was born in Portugal but raised in England so i have a portuguese bilhete de identidade( ID CARD thingy).

I have to go to Paris in December but my ID card expired 2years go . Does anyone know how long it will take me to renew it???

My mum thinks i have no chance of getting it done on time seeing as the Portuguese embassy are so slow and disorganised . Does anyone know anyother form of identification i can use to travel(not including passport) or how long the renewal process will take ????

The process takes about 3 months. U have to apply at the jurisdictional Portuguese Consulate.
