Hi,

I'm planning on visiting my cousin in Germany in the next two weeks but I only just remembered that I don't have a valid passport anymore. My cousin is planning on taking me all over Germany (she knows it very well as she has been studying there for the last 6 months) so money will be very tight. I'm not even sure I can go because of this damn passport, I can't really afford the £70 required for a passport which is ready within a week. the standard passport is onl £50 but that takes 3 weeks, which unfortunately is no good to me.

I talked to my mother (she is Portuguese) about this and she made a suggestion, she thinks that I can obtain a Portuguese passport for a very small amount at the Portuguese embassy in London, but if this is true surely I would need a passport which is still valid? If not at least had one adult passport (I have only had a childs one).

So, does anyone have any knowledge on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
