| Felon traveling to Japan Okay, I've searched through about 12 pages here.
I am 21 years old I have two felonies one for theft and one for forgery. I am off Parole and have a passport. I called Japan embassy in New York and I never received a straight answer. The women said if it had to do with drugs then no, something else they really wouldn't care. I know this about Japans immigration laws;
Visitors from the USA do not require a visa if visiting for less than 90 days
At customs in NARITA airport, they Fingerprint you and photo ID all non-Japanese residents
They also give you a hard time if you're not a clean-cut looking person, (ie; tatoos, piercings which can be avoided easily by covering them up)
Now in flight you're asked/required to fill out a card that asks if you have been convicted of a felony, my question is Do the Japanese have access to USA FBI NCIC (Database).
What do you think my chances of being sent home at the gate are? Remember they don't require a visa to visit for the time I'm going to be there |
