problem changing my bootscreen

hi, can someone tell me why when i change my bootscreen and i reabor my computer when i acept the new logo, a error screen appear and said that a file dosen't exist or need to reppair the file was windows/sistem32/drivers/Ntfs.sys

can anyone help me

tnx

or tell me another way to change my boot screen if i download from themesXP.org

Please define bootscreen? Are you talking about the Windows logo or your desktop wallpaper or what? NTFS.sys would not be a valid file to use for either.

By Bootscreen he means the black screen with the Windows logo and the blue loading bar at the bottom. The one you see before the welcome screen.

There's a good program you can use to switch bootscreens on this page: http://userxp.belchfire.net/ . Use that - it's the simplest way.

NTFS.sys shouldn't have been touched. If you can't boot into Windows now - you'll have to do a repair of XP. If you can boot into Windows, maybe a system restore will help solve the NTFS.sys problem
