I am using a PPC with GPS that have local map in .img format as it is the only format that I can download into my Garmin format. But it happen that there are many maps of other country that I intend to visit that has map in .bin format. So how do I convert this .bin type of map into .img format, this map are freely available in the intrnet so no problem of copyright.
