Convert garmin files to esri .shp files

Is there a file conversion utility to conver garmin track/ waypoint files to ESRI .shp files or ESRI .shp to Garmin format

Thanks have loaded the program but have not had success yet. maybe something to do with the new Garmin file format being a .gdb format.
