    Felon getting a college degree?
    I am a 43 year old man with 2 felonys. My first one was in 2005 for assault on a nurse in the emergency room. I never went to prison but did 4 months in county jail, and received a 3rd degree assault conviction. My second felony actually happened in 2004 but wasn't convicted until 2007 for possession of stolen property. They are both class c felonys, and I never went to prison. I didn't even have to do any jail time for the possession charge. We are coming up on 2011 and I was wondering what my options are as far as getting a good job if I went to college. Will I be allowed to even go to college? It seems I have the worst crimes, one violent , and the other is theft. Any advice would be welcomed Thank you

    Anyone can go to college. Do you have the money to go through and do you have your high school diploma ?
