Billy Snappers/plastic cubes that snap together

Hi,

We used to have some "Billy Snappers" when we were kids, bright yellow, blue and red plastic cubes that were hinged on a corner so opened up diagonally and could then lock together with another open cube. They had moulded letters of the alphabet on I think. I don't know what the actual name or make is. Does this sound familiar to anyone at all? I'm in Britain but I'm pretty sure these were an American toy.

Thanks very much!

If you could give a year it might make it easier to search.

You could also take a look through this link.

Hi,

Thanks for the link but today I've actually found them on ebay!! Occasionally I have a search for "plastic blocks" and today up they came! I couldn't believe it! They are tupperware blocks and despite the P&P from the U.S. to the U.K. I'm thinking of having a bid on them. Why do I hanker after childhood toys I wonder?

Vintage Tupperware Plastic building blocks lot Toddler on eBay, also, Blocks, Building Toys, Toys Hobbies (end time 23-Jun-08 00:44:20 BST)

Thanks very much for your help! Very kind.

So happy for you that you found what you were looking for.

There is a kid in all of us and what better things to enjoy than toys we had as children, and if we could pass them on to the next generation even more wonderful.

Good luck with your bidding.
