Racking my brain about 2 toys from my past

I need any information anyone can give me about two toys I grew up with. The first one is a barbie type doll but this one was a hippo with red hair and a very shapely body, under her clothing she had a full corset molded to her as a cover up like underwear, she had lipstick on and eyeshadow, there some others like her but different animals but I am unable to think of them too. The second toys is an older one my older sisters had it when I was growing up. It was about 12 inches high maybe 8 inches wide (trying to remember) it was hard plastic see through red in color with a blue oil type something dripping inside it. you tip it down and the oil stuff would run through and over stuff till it gets to the bottom then you turn it over and start all over again...they have newer smaller versions in the store but I need to know the name of this one. Any information would be appreciated.

How about "Hippy the hipopotemous" for one? Were these called Trolls?

I found out the answer to the question of the doll they were called Gorgeous Creatures by Mattel. Thank you all but I am still looking for the answer to the other toy.

I could be way off, but are you maybe talking about a Lava Lamp? I know that's not really a toy... more of an ornament...but that's the only thing that came to mind. They are retro and popular again now.

You don't look very old, so I can't guess how old your sister would have been when she had this toy.
