Does anybody know the name of this toy?

Hi All,

I am trying to remember the name of this toy, I'm not sure if it was from the 80's or 90's but anyhow, it was a girly toy in the shape of a turtle with legs (may have come in other shapes but I can't remember) you could open it's back/shell to put things in and it had hair you could comb, they were in girly colours had smiley faces, I think there was a TV series with them in it but I'm not sure.

Can anybody help???

I was going to go insane if I didn't find that out tonight! Ha ha!

Before anyone asks, I remember a girl bringing one to our Primary School when we had a Toy Day!
