    Need to know the name of this 80's doll
    When I was a little girl I wanted one of these dolls. I don't think they were around for very long. They were large dolls. They had different colored hair. The hair was very silky, shiny, and really curly. I think they came in colors like red, purple, pink, blue etc. They had large soft faces with large eyes, and their cheeks were somewhat rosy. I believe the skin colors were white and black. I think I remember them coming with shiny irridescent dresses and they may have had smaller babies that came with them. I remember a movie about them too. All I remember about the movie was that this child could enter their world through his/her closet door.

    Could you be thinking of the Hugga Bunch dolls? There was a movie where you went to their world through a mirror, I think. My daughter had one and loved it, but I thought they were sort of ugly.

    I didn't remember until you said that they went through the mirror. They are called Huggabunch.
