Wrong Fuel in Pressure Washer

Asked Jul 9, 2008, 05:27 AM — 3 Answers
My son mistakenly put Gas/Oil mix in my Craftsman Pressure Washer. It started fine, then burned a lot of smoke before shutting down. The fuel was dumped. We can get it to turn over, but will not crank. What do we need to do to get it up and running again? Thanks

Remove and clean spark plug. Drain Carburator. Remove carb if necessary, to drain.

You also should spray some carb cleaner into the spark plug hole, then place a rag over the opening and crank to remove the oil.

You may have to change the oil.
