    If you have two large post and one small male blade connector, which is what I think you have, the post to the left when holding the solenoid when all connections are visible to you, hook the battery + cable to the one on the left, the other cable to the right that goes to the starter, then the small either red, or yellow wire that has a fuse in line and runs to the ignition switch to the male blade connection.
