Weed Eater LT 7000 Gas Tank\Fuel Line

I recently received a used weed eater lt 7000 and when I tried to clean it up a little I noticed the fuel lines were rotted. The filter was already off inside of the gas tank. Any ideas on how to get a new gas line and the filter back in the gas tank, since I have no idea on how it goes? There was also another little part that was inside of the gas tank. It seems like it attaches to the gas line as well. It is white and appears to attach to a hose on each end. Any ideas?

That loose part is the clunker, a filter and weight to keep the fuel draw below the fuel in all positions. You have two tubes to replace and I think its best if you get yourself a manual which will include drawings. To get this replaced for you would cost $80 and the eater isn't worth that much.
