weed eater head won't spin fl20c. why?

my featherlite weedeater head won't spin. it's the one you can get attachments for. i just got it 2 months ago. the shaft in the upper part is spinning. what could it be?

i would say the power shaft has broken or it is not locked into the weed eater head properly, check to see if it is locked in by turning the weed eater attachment and watching the upper shaft, i would guess that is does have a centrifugal clutch on it , if not it should turn the engine when turning the head , hope this helps
