hey, kiss has a good solution. the best thing to do is bring it to a shop and let some of us do it for you. some weed eaters are easier than others. and even though $20.00 may seem steep just to put on a rope, well you do a lot of labor to do so. usually disassembling most of the exterior components. in fact there is one weed eater made by snapper, that we will not even consider putting a new pull rope into, and send them to our competitor. after one or two, i don't think that he does them anymore either.
