JD68 motor quits after 20 minutes

I have a problem on my JD 68 rider. I replaced the engine with a B&S Mod. 195707 several years ago. Currently it runs fine for 20-30 minutes then starts shaking and motor dies. Will not restart immediately. Has to cool down. I have rerouted gas line away from muffler pipe and hot engine but no change. I also replaced sparkplug with new E3.1 Champion. No improvement?

What are the appropriate part numbers for replacing steering shaft and gears on the 68? My bushing and shaft are not messing with the other teeth? Can I adjust old shaft and teeth to work?

get your carb fixed, then worry about your steering, not being smart here, just telling you some advice. lets work through one issue at a time, okay.

We took the carb apart and cleaned (carb apray and compressed air) all passages and the needle? Any other things to check in the carb?
