Troy Bilt Riding Lawn Mower issues

2006 Troy Bilt "Pony" 17.5 HP, 7 speed "shift on the go"

Just moved and it was fine when it went on moving truck. Arrives and zero happens when key is turned. Suspect battery, but checks fine. Suspect safety switches. Check seat, brake, PTO switches. All look good physically being activated, did not do wiring check.

any ideas?

Issue two arrives as I am about to surrender to above and take it to repair place. Now the mower will not come out of gear to be pushed up ramps. This was not an issue yesterday, nuetral worked fine for moving it. No physical interference in rod to tranny case.

Ideas? Or anyone have a match I can borrow?

Thanks in advance
