v belt size
I have a sears craftsman riding lawn tractor 46 inch cut. MODEL NUMBER 917273030. I NEED TO REPLACE THE V BELT . It will take two weeks to get a belt and i need one now. I need to know the size of the belt so i can get a new one. sears said they don't know the size can anyone help me?

Hi Sandy,
There are 3 v-belts, it would appear--you can get more information at searspartsdirect.com. I found your three belts listed on this site, but don't know how long it would take for one to arrive. Good luck..

That tractor has 3 belts, which one needs to be replaced. Sears says they don't know thw size, did they really says something so goofy? Doesn't sound like they were wearing their helpful panties today.

I agree with ballengerb, he may have contacted a "catalog" store. Because my experience is sears has always shipped my parts and I have gotten them in many cases the next day, sometimes two days.
