Guys, this isn't a blog. We have 3 guys asking different questions and only Mowerman is rtying to help. Each new person should click on ASK and create their own post. By the way the answer is likely no on the bagger but did you ask JD, there would know for sure. Most of the time a bagger from a 2003 JD will not fit a 2008 JD.

This is easy, Call your John Deere dealer and tell them the model of your Scotts... Mine is a LT1742, they will match you up with a compatible bagger pretty easily... Your model is usually under the left rear fender and under the hood too...

I've been able to get all the parts I need for my Scott John Deere S1742 (Home Depot) at one of the two local John Deere dealership where I live. I believe they still carry all the parts.

    Hi,
Parts should not be an issue yet The newer L, LA, etc. bagers do not have the correct mount pieces for the frame. The bagger looks very similar to the older STX baggers, especially if it has a 46" deck. The 42, 48 and 54" decks are a different matter. The latter two on the yard tractor frame are very similar to the LX baggers in the frame-mounts, but differ in the way the Powerflow mounts on the deck.
    Peace,
    Clarke
