ride on blade will not engage

cadet ride on lawn mower with safety feature of disengage cutting blade... now blade will not reengage... reset button? Help !

I'm not familiar with this type..... but how old is it? Any warranty? I wouldn't think it would have reset button (if it did it should be in the owners manual)

Kinda sounds like the switch down there went out.
