Repalace ring gear gear on brigg and sratton 14.5 engine

I changed the ring gear on this older riding mower, put back on, only one way, with new key, only one way, and now it will not fire. It did once, started, and was so loud had to shut dowm immeadiatley. What did I do wrong? It s not worth a lot of money and none now, but cannot afford a new one, if...

My 91 honda civic dx died when I was driving. It never started again. The starter tested good. How ever it is not turning the motor. I was told it could a bad flywheel?

I have a 84 bronco II 2.8 v6 with starter issues. I was told that Ford offered 2 different tooth count flywheels as well as 2 different tooth count starter drives. Can't find out which goes with which. Any answers? Thank you.
