    Onan gen won't stay running
When the "start" switch is pushed the generator will start, when released it dies. I have determined the following
In the start cycle it receives DC from the Battery for the fuel pump?
When it is released and the generator is running it receives volts from dc section of voltage regulator on gen set?

So I am assuming that no voltage is running fuel pump when switch is released.. . Generator is 100 Miles away and wan't to be prepared for diagnostics.

Is there a relay that swithces it over and has this happened to anyone else?

Is the control board more likely to be bad?

I have read A lot on this subject but no one addreses the relay possibility

We are getting AC voltage but the generator stays on Idle, is it related to govenor?

Will get wiring diagram so just looking for general practical possibilities
    Thanks,:)
