i have murray 30" cut and the model is 309029x92b and it has a peeless tranaxle 5 forward and 1 reverse i am looking to replace it and cannot for the life of me find what the part # for the transaxle is can anyone help ?? please and thanks

Well, I tried to look it up here Murray Parts Search and it says contact a peerless transaxel dealer.

Well, I got here:

Tecumseh Peerless Transaxle Replacement parts

Which has a manual.

Tecumseh's assets have been purchased by two companies. It's going to be tough, probably. Suggest contacting the above company.

This is probably the best link were do I find peerless parts - help - Tractors Forum - GardenWeb

because:

Every peerless transaxle I ever worked on has a metal tag riveted to the transaxle. It should be on the case by the brake disc. Model numbers 800, 900, 920 930 are popular models.

Any lawn and garden dealer will be able to look up and order Peerless parts for you. They are easy to work on after you remove the upper case half.

ok i will check , i am not sure if there is anything wrong with it as its just real sluggish and not sure if its the belt or the transaxle so i was just tryin to get all my ducks in a row before i dig in . thanks again
