Murray keeps blowing fuses

I have a 12.5 horse power Murray Riding Mower. I had problems getting it started this year. Found a blown fuse. But after I replaced it and cranked it up one time. Now the fuse is blown again. What is causing this?

MOWERMAN2468 Lawn & Garden Expert Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: GREAT STATE OF TENNESSEE Posts: 3,117	You Have A Naked Wire Somewhere, Probably Touching Somewhere And Shorting Out Causing The Fuse To Blow. Alot Of The Time You Will Find This Under The Dash Unit, (under Steering Wheel, And Above The Frame). You May Want To Remove The Fuel Tank To Gain Better Access And Visibility.
