Murray 12.5 HP 38" Cut Won't Go Into Gear

I have a Murray Riding Mower that is two years old. It worked great since I've had it. I went to start it up for the first time for this year and it wouldn't start. I had to charge the battery and then it started right up. But it will not go into gear. I put in 1st, 2nd, or Reverse and nothing happens, the mower doesn't move. The blades are working and running but the gears won't work. Nothing happens no matter what gear I put it in.

Does anyone know what would cause this? Could it be a belt? I did a quick check and it seems like the belts are OK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
