How do I replace the blade on a Craftsman Lawn Mower Model 22" 6.75 hp?

Depends on what year model, for most made in last 7 yrs or so, and with a tecumseh engine, just use all the gas first, tip over on two wheels on the side that the dip stick is closest to, but first remove the oil dip stick and have pan to drain the oil into, do not unscrew the plug on the bottom, there is no drain plug. Not sure which model, engine you have but you should have an owners manual to ck. If not, ck Sears.com, click on parts, enter your model number and perhaps the info there will help.

Thanks Richard along with your advice and a 2x4 to jam the old blade I unbolted the old blader and then bolted the new blade witout spiling a drop of oil or gas. THANKS!

Daman, I apologize, you asked about how to change the blade, I was telling you how to change the oil. Yes, changing the blade takes jamming the old blade so it wont turn as you unbolt it, the 2x4 is a good tool to jam it with.
