17 HP enginge has weak spark plug fire
Does the B@S 17.0 HP engine have a condensor and pts or the electronic ingnition system bought the mower used with no manual. Spark plug has very weak fire. Any thoughts.

Get the model number from plate on the engine. With model number you can go to B&S website and look your engine their.

Just a word of advice. Fire will be weaker in air when tested than in combustion chamber.

no there will not be a condenser. I think by the time 17 hps came out they were using solid state ignition on them.
