echo weed wacker needs new carb.

Hi to all. The repair center told me that my echo weed wacker, straight shaft, needs the entire carb replaced, that they couldnt rebuild it. He wants to charge me 80 dollars...how much would a new carb cost and where could i get one? Thanks to all!

Have not met a carb that could not be rebuilt unless water destroyed it. Sounds as if you have a parts replacer instead of a mechanic. . . different strokes.

Order the rebuild kit should be cheap set up a small work bench with lots of light and do it yourself.
