How do you set recoil on pullstart put new pullcord on but can't get coil spring back on

To get the spring back in, you have to wind it up by hand. And then carefully place it back inside. Be sure to wear eye protection. A loose spring is FAST. I prefer to add a new pull rope without removing the spring, its much easier and quicker.
