    Craftsman lt1000 won't start
I was performing my spring maintenance on my craftsman lt1000. The lawnmower would start prior to doing the maintenance. I changed the blades, oil, oil filter, and the spark plug. Now the mower will turn over but won't spark/fire, there is gas flowing to the spark plug. Any ideas what is wrong or how to get the mower to turn over?

Need a little clarification here, it sparks, but doesn't turn over??
You need the engine to turn over for spark, I assume you are referring to the spark plug spark, correct.

Craftsman lt1000 fuel smoke? [ 2 Answers ]

Hi all- I've got a 2004 LT 1000 that has gotten less zippy over the 4 years I've had it (speed and torque evidently- cutting with new blades is uneven and awful in turns). Now, if I go down a slope and then back up, it chokes, sputters and huge plume of white smoke comes out. Daughter said...
