it has spark but want fire

well, usually firing is spark. do you mean you have spark, but the engine will not crank up and run? if so, could be a carb problem, or flywheel key.

To whom it may concern,
I just had this problem. First I changed the spark plug (they do go bad). I had spark, but apparently it wasn't hot enough to ignite the gas. With the spark plug out, turn it over and see if gas comes out. Mine did have gas going to the spark plug, and I did have fire. Are you holding the switch down under the seat? This will not allow it to start. The problem I had was the magneto, not sure if spelling is correct (the part on top of engine that spins as engine turns over (usually has grass in the small holes)). It has magnets on it, and a sensor on the front that causes the spark. Mine was highly rusted. I took some sandpaper and cleaned it up. Also the sensor was out of adjustment. To get to it you have to take the screws in the part that has small holes on top of the engine out and take that part off, then take off the cover around it. There you'll see the sensor on the front of the engine, and the round part that spins around on top is what I cleaned the rust off of. I corrected it, cleaned everything up, and everything worked. I hope this worked for you, it did for me.
Good Luck!!!!
