craftsman gt3000 garden tractor no manual
I just bought a late 90's-early 2000 gt3000 with a 25hp kohler engine with a 48 in deck.I have no model #'s on the machine at all.I want to replace the ground drive belt and I have one,part # 161597. It seems about 2 inches too big.I also see a belt diagram on the undercarraige saying there is a flat idler in the center of the pulley system but there is no such pulley on the machine.It did run until I went to replace the belt. I am looking for any help to find a diagram or manual for any similar tractor to get an idea as to which way to go.Sears.com require a model # to access it's online manuals and I don't have any.

the best thing you could probably do is go to an ayp dealer, (ayp makes craftsman products), or your local small engine shop.
