Craftsman drm500 won

just got this mower, number 247.27022. It won't free wheel (I can't push it) when it's in neutral with engine off. Trans works good in forward and reverse with engine running.

Hi,
Your rear engine rider was made by MTD exclusively for Sears. You can get the manual at the ManageMyLife site or the MTD archive. The MTD model number is 13A-344-099.
Would suggest you get the manual at one place if you do not have it and refer to the section that tells you how to adjust the drive(and brake) cable(s). I think your brakes are adjusted too tight.
