Briggs and Strattan Riding Lawnmower . loose spring

We are trying to find a diagram of the briggs and stratton engine so that we know where this loose spring connects to. Can anyone tell me of a website that actually has diagrams of the engine not just of the various parts that you can order? I believe that this spring controls the throttle control.

Appreciate it

Esteban

You wouldn't happen to be able to attach a picture to this posting?

Is the spring part of the carb or part of the handle?

If you go to the B&S website, can you find the owner's guide?

at Briggs and Stratton Lawn Mower Engines - Small Engines & Outboard Motors - Briggs & Stratton, you can find the entire parts diagram.

Usually the light spring attaches to the governer and the carb throttle.

We can't do the work for you and neither can we read minds. The website is the only information we can give based on the information provided. Usually on the recoil starter there are a bunch of numbers. You will need these to use the B & S website.

Your question is like asking where does this spring go on a FORD car. You need to know if it's a model "T" or a 2008 model at a minimum.
