    Brigs 16hrs is blowing oil up into the carb
    I need some wisdom . My 16 hrs briggs is blowing oil up into the breather . Help

    The oil breather is clogged or needs replacing. You'll find it on the side of the engine with a small hose pointing down that seems to go nowhere. Look hard.

    This is different from the air breather for the carb.

    You have a problem with the breather assembly. This assembly is located on the side of the engine. Follow the black tube from the air filter housing to the rectangle box on the side of the engine. This is your problem. Get a new one and a gasket and replace.
    Now if it only has 16 HOURS on the engine, you are looking at a warranty claim. But I think that this was a typo and you meant 16hp.
