Briggs and stratton wiring diagram

I have an 11 hp briggs and stratton motor, model# 252707 type# 0622-02 code# 87121911 that I am having to rewire completely. I have everything figured out except the lights and the charging system. I have 2 black wires coming out of the alternator one has more volts than the other but both are "hot" with the white connector, coming out of the connector on the other side (away from the enging) is one white wire and one black wire the black wire is the one with the diode in the line. I need a complete wiring diagram and have been unable to locate one, do you know where I can locate one or can you tell me where these wires are supposed to go.

Try the local briggs and stratton dealer, they may have a copy that they may sell you. I doubt they will just give it to you though unless you do a lot of business with them.

I tried the dealer and they were unable/unwilling to help. The engine is actually on an old Yard King lawn mower that orignally had a 12 hp engine on it. Any other suggestions?

Check the briggs and stratton site and see if they have a wiring diagram for your model. I found one for an older model.

Pretty much all of it. Most I have replaced because it had been cut and put back together in many places.

You can find what you need at Do you offer electrical wiring schematics or diagrams? How do I identify which style alternator I have? What procedure(s) should be followed when the output connector of my replacement engine is not compatible with the original wiring harness on my e. This should help you with what you need.
