B&S I/C12hp: Fuel in the crankcase

Just wanting to know what i might be able to do to keep the fuel from filling the crankcase. Besides adding a fuel shutoff valve. Sticking float? But the engine runs great. Check the oil in the morning and shaaaaZammm the crankcase is now a gas tank.

The possibilitys for it are either a stuck float..... float is full of gas from a pinhole, inlet needle or inlet needle seat are leaking (may just be the needle with a neoprene tip and brass seat) Either fix it or install a shutoff valve..... about the only two ways to stop it.
