will idle but stalls under load (white smoke june1 3:07 for details)anybody know where i can get online specs/diagrams for hd gasket&valve lash.

installed new hd gasket,now won,t start.adj valves to .005 with piston 1/4 turn past tdc.battery cks good (12.65v). powered starter direct with batt. & starter hung up at peak compression. oil ed starter gear till it moved freely & put back but it still hangs up.
do i have an ignition prob? or starter o r compression? need help,thanks hc
