My 5 hp briggs keeps dying on me

I have a briggs 5 hp minbike which is an 1986 I believe. Anyways it usually starts on the 3 rd pull and the other day it took me ten pulls to get it going. I got it to fire then it would bog down and die. It only ran at a high speed half choke and it would take awhile to get it going. I looked at the spark plug connection and it was also fine I also had gas in the tank any suggestions thanks

I'd look at maybe trash in the carb (clogging the fuel pickup tubes..) , generally a good carb cleaning (and rebuild kit, don't forget the carb to tank gasket! And new diapragm)
