14.5 hp MTD lawnmower-Drive pulley

I need to remove the drive pulley. I removed the nut at the bottom but the drive pulley will not come off. Do I require a pulley puller or am I missing something?

The pulley on the engine? guess some sort of antisieze wasn't used.... yeah it'll have to ve pulled, you can try heating it up some and melting some candle wax down it, then pull and see if it helps.
