How do you get the "smokey eye" look?

Hi everyone, I just wanna share with you how to maneuver a smokey eye look.

First decide on the colours you want to use: black, charcoal, grey, plum, brown...smokey eyes are usually done with dark colours.

All you need to do is place the dark colour on your lid so from your lash line up to your crease. Make sure to blend well because otherwise, it will just look like you just plopped the colour on. With an angle brush, you'll need to take that colour and sweep it just underneath your lashes thus replacing your actual eyeliner. Wet that same brush and using the same colour, draw in your eyeliner on the top of your eyelid close to your lash line. Finish the look off in black mascara and voila! All done!

OMGosh, you are a fashion girl...no heels for me, but i love the flats and some good Adidas!!
I am so tall already, I feel intimidating when I wear any height at all.....

This thread is pretty old but I'll add my two cents worth....

I use a very soft eyeliner pencil and color in a triangle in the corner of my eye on my eyelid.
Then I draw a line over the top of my eyelashes.
Then I use a cue-tip to smudge the triangle out towards the center.
Then finish up with the color of your choice (I use copper tones)
Finally a lighter shade for under your brow and right in the corner (near your tear duct)

I appologise for the dodgy picture below, It was just to show you what I mean

(I'm trying to draw with my laptop pad thingy! lol)
