I just got a new Vizio VW37 LHDTV and the controller worked fine for the first night.The next day I had to be at least 5 ft from the TV for the remote to work.If I try to get it to work any further back then that it won't. I have changed the batteries,and even contacted the co. via email. They told me to reboot the TV by shutting it off for 30 sec then back on.that didn't work either... Any suggestions? :(

Look around the area for other remotes, fluorescent lights which may be flickering, these and other items can be interfering with the IR signal of the remote control. This great Instructable tells you how to increase the sensitivity of the remote.
