TV acting weird!

I have a Samsung 27 in TV that is about 4.5 yrs old. Recently the screen has been fading to black (w/ sound still on) right after I turn it on and a minute or two later, the picture comes back and it's fine. If I turn it off for a little while and turn it back on the same thing happens. I know you usually advise people that it's not worth repairing but in this case, would it be? Thanks!

I've had this problem in several of my tvs and monitors, it can be various things...

it could be a small component going bad on the main board, it could be some sort of loose connection, or dirt could have built up on brightness knobs (or other knobs or adjustments)

It might be worth repairing (especially since its a 27") if the problem isn't too serious.
