    Early 90's show about a pirate ghost
    This has been driving me nuts for a while:
    Does anyone remember the title of a show, late 80's/early 90's, only last one year, where a guy buys or inherits a house in the Caribbean and discovers it is haunted by the ghost of a black pirate. The two team up, the living guy dresses up and pretends to be the ghost, and with the help of the real ghost they stop crime. Every one of my friends remember the concept of the show, but no one can come up with the title so far.

    Are you thinking of Black Beard's Ghost? It isn't a 90's or 80's movie but it was on Disney a lot in those days. It is on DVD my Dad as it.

    The name of the movie is "The 100 Lives of Black Jack Savage". It was on television from March of 1991 to May of 1991. It lasted all of 7 weeks. You are thinking of the movie which starred Suzanne Pleshette and Dean Jones. I forget the name of the famous russian actor who played the ghost. Sorry doll, but you have it all wrong.
