    Comcast cable
Hey everybody... not sure if this is the right section but here it goes:

My family recently got the comcast cable deal with that machine part (the one that looks like a DVD player)... I don't know what it's called, but anyway we've figured out how to record shows and such.

The problem is we can't find where the recorded shows are saved!

I've checked nearly every section and the shows are no where to be found :(

And yes I am 100% sure I recorded the programs correctly.

My question is where can you find your shows go after they have been recorded?

You probably have a DVR. Try hitting the Menu button on the remote and see if a row of buttons appear on the bottom of the screen. There is a tab called DVR, scroll over and click on it. It should show your programs.

Thanks for the advice and all, but there wasn't a tab called DVR

My DVR remote has a button called LIST. This is where I go to get my recorded programs. You might try the HPC method of learning - "hunt, peck and cuss". This is much more fun than reading the manual. Afer all, I am a male. We do not read manuals.

Usually Comcast boxes with DVR are silver. Question though, is that pic of your setup? If so your DVR is the bottom box with the Tivo logo on it.

The easiest way to see if it is a DVR, call comcast tech support, they can tell you what you have.
