I am trying to recall a short TV series from t6he late 70's or early 80's.It concerns a man travelling to the midlands who encounters and helps a woman with car trouble. She takes him home and they form a relationship. He is introduced to her friends and gradualy, and very cleverly, we switch to their lives and contacts, until none of the original cast are left but every body is interconnected in some way. I keep thinking of Heartlands, but I believe that is a different show, and maybe there was mid in the title, as it was set in the midlands. Anybody recall it, it's driving me mad! |

Does anyone know the name of an HBO series about a motel in the desert that was a porthole? It may have been a movie around 1985. The characters had to have a key or something from inside the motel room to open the door, it was invisible to the locals and police couldn't find it either.
