I am looking for the name of a TV show from the early to mid-90s or so. The show is about a family with three or four kids, one of them a really nerdy looking 12 year-old or so, with blond hair combed to the side and big brown glasses. His siblings, a girl and one or two guys, are teenagers and a little more on the cool side. I am guessing early to mid-90s because the nerdy guy uses email but his computer looks kinda old.

I recently saw a rerun of an episode somewhere on cable TV. Unfortunately, I forgot which channel it was on. In the episode, the dad takes his wife to a mountain lodge for the weekend because she complains that he never does anything romantic with her. Turns out that he had gone to the mountain lodge with his ex-girlfriend, which of course ruins the weekend. Meanwhile, the kids are watching some horror movie, and everyone but the nerdy guy is scared, so the others decide to scare him by hiding in the closet and opening the door from the inside a number of times until he freaks out and runs out of the room...
