I would be grateful for any feedback on a problem that has arizen with my 32" lcd flatscreen TV. I am in the process of buying a decent replacement lcd television because I was conned by a slick talking salesman in a "reputable" plasma/lcd showroom into thinking it was HD ready. It wasnt I found that out just over 2 years later when I had Sky HD box fitted

Anyway PROBLEM !!........

When my tv is switched on, its ok for a few seconds and then the picture dissapears completely, leaving sound only. When the problem first appeared a few months ago, the time between turning on and the picture disappearing was longer. It meant the a few times of switching on and off usually cured the problem. Now, no amount of switching off and unplugging the set, seems to cure it. When first switched on there is a picture but only momentarily and then a black screen with sound

Its difficult to say what exactly the make is because it was sold under licence by this "reputable" showroom with their own logo on it....the model number is LT-30FLP
